- Thinner and lighter than the Inspiron 1520
- Long battery life
Cons
- Poor wireless performance
- Mediocre graphics engine
- Limited display options
2. Lenovo IdeaPad S10
There is nothing to dislike about this netbook which makes it special to us.

Pros
- Small and portable
- ExpressCard slot offers extra expansion options
- Very well built and durable
- Easy to upgrade RAM, and hard drive
- Comes with Bluetooth
- Standard Sized HDD with good speed
Cons
- Gets a little hot
- Looks something like toy laptop for babies
- Only two USB ports
3. HP ProBook 4510s
This is a good business notebook at an affordable price.

Pros
- Good Price Tag for a 15 inch Business Notebook
- Keyboard is nice
- Attractive Design
- Relatively LightWeight
Cons
- All plastic Build is not rugged enough for a business laptop
- Customization is overpriced
- Touchpad buttons are not comfortable
- Upgrade is difficult
4. Asus Eee PC T91
This is a Touchscreen Tablet PC at a very affordable price.

Pros
- Tablet PC at a very low price
- Light and Portable
- Build quality better that average
- Battery life is satisfactory
- Nice Touchscreen capabilities
Cons
- CPU performance below average
- SSD Drive capacity very low to go with
- Small 8.9 inch display
- No high capacity battery option
- Stylus Pen is not handy
5. Asus Eee PC 1005 HA Seashell
This is the most refined netbook from Asus - the creator of the netbook lineup of laptops.

Pros
- Build quality is good for budget netbook
- Battery life is amazing
- Port Layout is good for a netbook
Cons
- Thick for a modern netbook
- Weak integrated graphics
- Bad touchpad buttons
6. Dell Studio 15
This is a nice laptop filling the niche between pricey laptops and netbooks.

Pros
- Striking design
- Good battery life
- Good build quality
- Lots of customization options
- Nice keyboard, touchpad and media buttons
- Good value for money spent
- Multiple upgrades and repairing will be easy
Cons
- Only one available graphics card
- Intel graphics is not good for HDMI viewing
- Access cover at bottom opens up everything
- Bulkier than some laptops
- Upgrades are pricey
7. HP Mini 2140
This is a nice netbook for the students and the businessmen alike.

Pros
- Great Battery Life
- Excellent build quality
- Great keyboard
- ExpressCard slot offers fantastic expansion possibilities
- Multiple configuration options
Cons
- Base configuration has low-resolution screen
- Awkwardly positioned Touchpad Buttons with very narrow touchpad
- Screen is too reflective due to second glossy protective layer
8. Lenovo ThinkPad T400
This a laptop for businessmen with nice specs and price.

Pros
- High Performance
- Good keyboard and accurate touchpad
- Nice Port selection
Cons
- Vertical Viewing angle not satisfactory
- Build quality not rugged like business laptops
9. Dell Latitude 2100
This laptop is built for students and is known for its rugged build quality.

Pros
- Rugged Build Quality to survive drops from desk
- Good Battery Life
- Good Educational Features
Cons
- Heavier than average netbooks
- Low resolution display
- Model with Touchscreen have very low utility
10. Dell Adamo
This laptop removes the ugly tag from Dell’s laptop range.

Pros
- Glamorous look-n-feel
Cons
- The Adamo is heavy compared to MacBookAir which is about a pound lighter than it.
- Battery does not run as long as Dell specifies it. It runs about merely three hours on normal operation rather than specified 5+ hours by Dell.
- Lack of Built-in DVD Drive.
- Price is almost three times if compared to similar performing laptops.
- Lacks an SD card slot

Shame you give so much credence to Dell, they’re at most lackluster, not to mention unresponsive to their customers
