June 8th, 2009 Kinpo's latest Touchscreen Tablet is a bit of an engineering sample rather than an actual product but still it shows that Android can be run on a much larger 7 inch screen without much of a problem. The system clearly shows Android's versatility.

May 28th, 2009 Google expects at least 18 phones based on Android operating system to be available in the market by the end of this year. Andy Rubin, senior director for Mobile Platforms for Google, said that at least 18 to 20 devices will be made by eight to nine different manufacturers compared to only two Android Centric Phones at present - T-Mobile's G1 in US and Magic made by HTC in Europe.

June 30th, 2009 According to a rumor from WSJ, Dell engineers are working on a pocket sized mobile internet device that would run on Google's Android OS. The device is aimed at the market between netbooks and smartphones without the usual cellphone capabilities and will be based on ARM chips rather than usual insistence of Dell on Intel or AMD chips.

Other than Omnia II and Omnia Pro the show also starred Omnia-inspired Jet (S8000), Omnia Lite (B7300) and also the Pixon 12 which runs on the same OS as Jet but has a dozen-megapixel camera under its hood.
