SAN FRANCISCO (GaeaTimes.com) — At the September 1, 2010 event in San Francisco Apple has unveiled a new line up for iPods. The new Apple iPod called iPod Nano comes with a smaller size and revamped design.
The iPod Nano has a 1.5 inch color display with 240×240 pixel resolution. It has been shrinked to 46 percent compared to the 5th generation iPod. The redesign of Apple iPod includes Multi-Touch feature, which the previous generation of iPod lacks.ARTICLE CONTINUED BELOW
The multi-touch features has invoked some changes in the get up of the new unit. The ‘touch’ factor being a revolutionary thing for iPod, has forced some unnecessary buttons to be removed from it. The only hardware buttons that the new iPod Nano includes are volume buttons on the side and a clip on at the rear.
Apple has claimed that the iPod Nano will support a longer battery life. You can play music for 24 hours, before running out of stream.
Apple iPod Nano will be released in two variants, each with seven different colors. The two variants are based on memory capacity, which are 8 GB and 16 GB respectively.
FM radio is there for entertaining the users 24×7. With built-in 30-pin connector, they can connect the iPod Nano anywhere they wish.
