This HP tablet runs in Windows 7 environment supporting multitouch gestures. It packs an in-built accelerometer to change the display’s orientation to landscape or portrait mode according to the needs of the user. There are three processor options for this model, Intel Core i5 and Core i7 units coupled to 2GB or 4GB of RAM and SSD options available. HP says that the six-cell battery unit will give five hours backup and if optional ultra slim battery is used it will give up to 11 hours battery. The price of this tablet is under $500.
Lenovo Ideapad U1 Hybrid Tablet
The Ideapad U1 weighs 3.8-pound and runs in Windows 7. It has a Core 2 Duo CULV processor with a 128GB solid-state drive. The display is 11.6-inch display and it can be used as a stand-alone Linux tablet PC. The Tablet is powered by a 1-GHz Snapdragon ARM processor with 16GB of flash memory.

The Dell Latitude XT2 gives a 12.1 display with a multi-touch facility. You can have up to 5GB of DDR3 memory of 1066MHz. It also packs a 80GB/120GB 5400RPM SATA HDD.
