BlackBerry to Sell Playbook Tablet under $500

BlackBerry co-CEO Jim Balsillie has announced that its Playbook Tablet will be priced under $500. On account of this the shares of RIM has risen considerably.

RIM unleashed the Playbook Tablet to give a hard competition to Apple’s iPad. The Playbook Tablet is expected to hit the market at the dawn of the next year. RIM stock went up to 5.68 percent on the TSX and 7.53 percent on Wall Street.

According to the company, BlackBerry’s Playbook Tablet will set a hard challenge to Apple’s iPad as it sports a seven inch display and incorporates Adobe flash for running video and graphic works.
