China Leads in the World for Producing Fastest Supercomputer

BEIJING (GaeaTimes.com) — China is leading in the world for producing the fastest supercomputer. It has outsted US in a recent survey of the world’s zippiest machines.
ARTICLE CONTINUED BELOWTianhe-1, meaning Milky Way, has a sustained computing speed of 2,507 trillion calculations per second and it is labeled as the fastest computer in China on a list published on Thursday.
This supercomputer has already find its application in the Tianjin Meteorological Bureau and the National Offshore Oil Corporation data center.
The digital crown is stolen by China from US. Early in 2002 Japan made a machine with more power than the top 20 American computers put together.
