Four new series of LaVie Laptop launched by NEC

A fresh new set of laptops are announced today by NEC Japan. These high end laptops include LaVie L, LaVie S, LaVie M and LaVie Light. Lets see what are the most interesting features of the latest devices.


1) LaVie L

It’s said to be the most attractive notebooks among the four. It comes with many modifications that include Intel’s latest series of Core CPU including the I7-2620M, Core i5-2410M or Intel’s entry level Celeron P4600 CPU. Depending upon the configuration, LaVie L is available with a 3D screen, Wireless Digital TV Tuner, Intel’s WiDi, USB 3.0 SDXC Support and USB 3.0.

2) LaVie S

This comes with a 15.6″ screen, an Intel Core i5-480M, Corei3-380M or Pentium P6200.

3) LaVie M

The LaVie M sports a 13.3″ monitor with a 1366768 resolution, a DVD Super Multi Drive 500GB of HDD, 4GB of RAM and for the processor you can choose between a Core i7-660UM or Core i3-380UM.

4) LaVie Light

This is actually a Netbook introduced by NEC this morning. This new model has a 10.1″ monitor with a 1366768 resolution, 320GB of HDD, an Atom N550 and 2GB of RAM.

So, we get to see that almost all models feature a screen with a 1366768 resolution, the choice from 2 to 4GB of RAM, a Blu-Ray drive or DVD Drive and up to 640GB of HDD.
