LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com) — Google customer service is flooded with plenty of complaints of spotty 3G coverage of its new born baby Nexus One smartphone. Until Monday evening, hundred of messages were posted to Google’s support Web site, reportedly for non-existent of 3G.

Many users get perplexed for not knowing where to lodge the complain, the phone manufacturer, HTC, T-Mobile or Google.

While the internet was quick to jump on a problem existing between the Nexus One and 3G, neither Google nor T-Mobile acknowledged the problem.

Google introduced the Nexus One last week at an event at the company’s Mountain View headquarters. The model for the Nexus One is different from most mobile phones. Google is the seller, while T-Mobile is the wireless provider.

HTC is the manufacturer of Android-based Nexus One. Customers can buy it unlocked for $530 or with a two-year T-Mobile contract for $179. The phone itself, according to a new analysis, actually contains about $174 worth of hardware — five bucks less than the iPhone 3GS.

Complaints are starting to mount for the Nexus One. There appear to be some annoying technical glitches. Frustration is apparently growing by the minute as the users fail to find 3G services. Constant switching between 3G and EDGE network is another issue of concern for Nexus One.

Meanwhile, a Google staffer, “Ry Guy,” has acknowledged the problem stating that they are investigating the whole matter and will hopefully solve it. He also appreciated the patience of the users.

But this does not appear the proper way of apologizing. Google is such a big name and it’s reputation is inherently associated with its product. So, Google should light up the issue, giving it utmost priority. We hope to see complain-free, smooth service of Nexus one very soon.

Google android O/S should take a pie of the phone market share in the near future. I’ve personally seen some models and the applications on the phone are really cool.
