Los Angeles (GaeaTimes.com) - HP Slate Tablet PC is unveiled yesterday at the CES 2010 by Steve Ballmer of Microsoft. The device will obviously be more powerful than a mobile and will be almost as powerful as a full functional PC. The device is targeted to the consumers who mainly focus on utilities like reading e-books, surfing web, listening to music, watching videos and gaming while on the go.

The device will run on Windows 7 and the only input method is touch control. It wil support Windows 7 multi-touch but Microsoft has not revealed too much details of the device and most probably they are keeping an eye on Apple to release their most awaited tablet device.

Any information on the specification or price of the device is not yet available but we will keep you informed about it as soon as we get it. For now take a look at the official video.
