DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- It is quite evident that like other major cell phone makers HTC, the Taiwanese giant is focusing on the Indian market for its cutting edge and upcoming models. Just a few days ago HTC Mozart, the Windows 7 phone of the company was found listed in HTC India site. Yesterday, the company in collaboration with Tata Docomo announced its official launch in the country. Incidentally the Mozart is the first phone from HTC’s stable to feature a 8 MP camera. With it Tata docomo wants to capture a segment of the high end smart phone market in India. It will come fitted with a Xenon flash as well. The specs of the new HTC Mozart are quite impressive. It is powered by a fast 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8250 processor and has 576 MB RAM along with 512 MB ROM. Like most of the Windows Mobile 7 OS based phones this has 8GB inbuilt memory. As usual HTC has equipped the handset with some of its own applications. With a 3.7 inch capacitive screen and a resolution of 480×800 it is ideal for on the move entertainment. The phone also comes fitted with SRS Surround Sound and Dolby Mobile technology.
The HTC Mozart will lock horns with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S in India. Tata Docomo is expected to publish the detailed offer on this handset for its customers. The phone is robustly built thanks to its aluminum uni body design. It also supports 3G and the users can use it on Tata Docomo’s newly launched 3G network.
