motorolaMotorola, one of the leading mobile phone manufacturers of US today releases a new 4G smartphone Atrix. The latest device runs on Google Android 2.2 Froyo operating system and will be available through AT&T in United States.

Motorola Atrix 4g is regarded as “the world’s most powerful smartphone ever” by its provider AT&T, since it flaunts a giant display of 4-inch qHD. The new Motorola device is powered by dual-core 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 SoC processor and 1GB RAM.


The striking features of Motorola Atrix include 16 GB internal memory expandable upto 32 GB using micro SD cards, 5 megapixel camera at rear with LED Flash and a front facing VGA camera for video calling.

One of the enticing features of Motorola Atrix is the HD multimedia dock and laptop dock which turns this smartphone to a cool netbook. The HD multimedia dock features a power connector, three USB ports, and an HDMI output with an infrared remote. On the other hand, the laptop dock sports a 11.6 inch display, two USB ports, a keyboard and a trackpad with two-finger scrolling. According to sources, the Froyo OS of the device will be upgraded to Gingerbread soon.

Motorola has not revealed the pricing details of Atrix yet. Motorola Atrix will be available by the end of first quarter of 2011.
