Ittiam now has arrived with quite a solution to the issue with it’s new video phone being capable of HD Playback, giving you the liberty to enjoy upto 30 frames per second.

The phone is powered by OMAP3530 processor from Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) and can facilitate designs where portability and low power are of prime importance. The phone exhibits Ittiam’s proven technologies in audio video synchronization, echo cancellation, communication grade latency, interoperability and quality of service over public networks.

Sattam Dasgupta, vice president, media streaming business, Ittiam said,

The Android-based video phone combines the Android user experience with Ittiam’s unmatched video quality and performance on the very popular OMAP3530 processor…. We expect the combination to spur increased adoption of video communication technologies across devices at home or work.

Ittiam Systems Private Limited, headquartered in Bangalore, India, is a technology company singularly focused on embedded media processing systems. The most interesting thing about the company is that it bears a flavor of India and so it would be a really interesting fact as to how popular this product gets. I have already crossed my fingers. Lets hope Ittiam sails through safely.
