May 28th, 2009 Google expects at least 18 phones based on Android operating system to be available in the market by the end of this year. Andy Rubin, senior director for Mobile Platforms for Google, said that at least 18 to 20 devices will be made by eight to nine different manufacturers compared to only two Android Centric Phones at present - T-Mobile's G1 in US and Magic made by HTC in Europe.

August 26th, 2009 MSI has confirmed that they will release a touchscreen netbook that will be based on Intel's next gen Pine Trail Atom Processors which will combine both CPU and GPU in a single package. The 10 inch convertible U150 will come with Windows 7 but it won't support the Windows 7's cool touch Pack Apps as touchscreen will be resistive not capacitive and sans any multitouch capabilities.
