LG to launch Feature Rich Android Smart phone?

LG Optimus smart phones series may see a Dual Core Android smart phone in 2011. The news leaks are hinting that the upcoming gadget will be the “one of its types” model.


The highlights of the specs includes a 4″ touch screen and an awesome 8 mega pixel camera with LED flash. Moreover, there is facility of Full 1080p HD Video recording. There is a front facing camera as well to enable the video calls. The phone will be boasting a Dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset to run multiple processes smoothly. The storage space of the phone will be expandable by micro SD slots and micro USB connectivity will be there as a standard.

It’s still a mystery that on which version the of the Google’s OS the device will be running but the shiny Google logo at the back of the handset is hinting that it will be surely something about Androids. We expect it to be coming with an untouched version of Android. Is it Gingerbread? Not Sure.

The model is dubbed as Star internally, though there is a high chance that the name will be changed when the phone gets available in the market.

According to the president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company, Dr. Jong-Seok Park Optimus One seems to be what many customers were waiting for, proving that smart phones aren’t just for early adopters anymore”.

The price of the smartphone is not revealed yet but we hope that it will stay at a competitive range with the other phones in the market.
