Design and construction

It is a bar-shaped phone with dimensions of 115×62x12.5mm and weighing 95 grams. The most striking feature of the Q5 is Trackball Navigation with Full QWERTY keypad. It supports Dual SIM of GSM-Dual-Band (900/1800 MHz).

Messaging

It supports SMS as well as MMS. Texting-lovers will surely love this phone as it sports full QWERTY keypad. This makes typing a breeze on the Micromax Q5.

The absence of Email and Push Email is disappointing, though.
Camera

The camera is a very basic one with 2 megapixels and digital zoom capable of snapping 1600×1200 resolution images. Video capture ability is also provided.

Multimedia

The music player present in the Micromax Q5 is a multi format player capable of playing MP3, AMR, MIDI and WAV files. You can also tune into your favorite FM Radio stations due to the presence of Stereo FM Radio. The presence of a video player also enhances its multimedia capabilities.

Few games are also present to keep you entertained.

Connectivity

USB Port is present for easy transfer of files to/from a PC.
