SAN FRANCISCO (GaeaTimes.com)- The upcoming Nexus S from Google has made the smart phone lovers excited and everyone just cannot wait to see what is new in the successor to the original Nexus One. The Nexus S will land on Best Buy on November 14, it has been reported. The handset this time, however, has been made by Samsung and not HTC. The market rumor is that the handset will be sold by T Mobile. Nexus S will feature the red hot Gingerbread Android 2.3 and will have a super AMOLED screen with a 4 inch dimension. The other specs include a fast Hummingbird CPU and a LED flash assisted 5 MP camera. It is similar to the Samsung Galaxy S and will also have HSPA support coupled with a powerful 1500 mAh battery that will give long hours of runtime even while using 3G. However, the lack of HSPA+ type means it will not be 4G compliant.
ARTICLE CONTINUED BELOWIt is well known that Google offered the Nexus One made by HTC directly without any tie up with any carriers. The phone received praise but did not sell as expected. In the meantime, the images captured by a Nexus S test model have appeared on the web. The images taken by the phone have made their way to Picasa, which is the photo album application of Google. The images were taken in the first week of this month.
Nexus S has a camera similar to Samsung Galaxy S. Google is probably busy ironing out the minor flaws in the model before its commercial launch. Hopefully, this time the Nexus will better fight the rival phones.
