TDK squeezes 260 GB in Just 1.8 Inches!

TDK left us all gaping when it announced its new venture of cramming 260 GB data in a 1.8 inch hard disk drive at CEATEC. This was achieved by attaining a surface recording density of 803 gigabits per square inch using their prototype TMR head along with Magnesium Oxide insulating film and discrete track medium.
