Palm WebOS 1.4 Update is now available and if you have connections from Sprint, O2 or Moviestar, you can get an update of 39MB for your Palm Phone. In short, the new features include capabilities of video recording, Flash and some necessary tweaks that will improve performance and battery life. The WebOS Update will be available only for the phones running on WebOS like the Palm Pre and Palm Pixi.

Apart from the video recording capability in the updated operating system you can also trim videos and upload them directly on YouTube or Facebook. You can also share them via e-mail messages or an MMS message. The new version will also support Adobe Flash 10.1 Beta plug in. The new LED messaging feature will alert users when a new voice mail, email or something likely has arrived even if the display of the device is turned off.
The phones will be updated automatically in the next few days and you can also do this manually by using the Updater Application. Here is the list of changes in the new version.
