PlayStation Phone Images Leaked: Real or Fake?

Engadget has claimed to have posted the images of the prototype of Sony Ericson PlayStation phone. Although they seem to be certain about the real deal, some people are skeptical about the authenticity of the device.
ARTICLE CONTINUED BELOWThe PlayStation phone is assumed as a hybrid of mobile and a gaming device. It is said to run on a 1GHz processor, with 512MB of RAM and 1GB of ROM. The new unit also boasts 5 megapixel camera, slide-out gaming pad and the Android Gingerbread OS.
While the leaked images show the device running a standard installation of Android (probably 2.2), Engadget believes that the final version will be preinstalled with Android 3.0.
As per the photos rev ealed by Engadget, the PlayStation Phone contains a camera at the back with flash. The hardware buttons are also shown off below the touchscreen.
Engadget also reports that they are hopeful that the gaming phone will hit the stores on Q1 or Q2 2011.
