Reliance Presents New Android Phone

MUMBAI, INDIA ( The CDMA mobile users always have a grudge about the dearth of handsets they have in India. Compared to them the GSM service users easily get access to a plethora of latest handsets. Even though the choices of handsets offered by leading CDMA service providers in India namely Tata Indicom and Reliance Mobile have increased in recent years, the user have less flexibility of choice. The users of Reliance CDMA service now have a reason to feel happy about. The company is going to launch a feature loaded Android based handset made by Samsung in the Indian market. The latest Galaxy i899 handset will soon be launched by the CDMA Operator.


The Samsung Galaxy i899 which will hit the stores soon has latest features like 3.2 MP camera, a touch screen display, Bluetooth, Wi Fi and a LED Flash. It also has GPS. The phone has an internal storage capacity of 230 MB and the user can put in an external memory card. The phone can support a memory card up to 32 GB capacity which will suffice the need of maximum users. The phone runs on a powerful 800 MHz CPU. With this model Reliance is planning to take on rival service operators who do not have such a feature loaded handset under their arsenal.

Reliance is yet to declare the cost of this model but one can expect it to be priced high since it comes with so many features. It will be loved by the corporate users and those who need to browse the web through their phones.
