Samsung Mobile Targets Touchscreen Segment

NEW DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Samsung Mobile which is one of the leading mobile handset players in the Indian market is eyeing the fast emerging Touchscreen Smartphone segment aggressively. In this segment it competes mainly with rival LG and Nokia. After tasting success with its Corby Range of phones it has added two new models that offer TV viewing in mobile phones. According to the company, the Metro TV and Corby TV sets are the first models released in the Indian market to offer integrated broadband mobile TV service. The Corby TV model is packed with cutting edge features and has a 2.8″ QVGA TFT display. It is a full Touch Screen phone that has support for both 3G and EVDO networks. The storage capacity is 8GB at max. It has been priced at below the psychological 10k mark to lure the customers.

Those who want high speed mobile broadband should opt for the Metro TV set released by Samsung mobile. It is priced below 7000. Samsung has tied up with Tata Indicom to offer these handsets to the users. There are both prepaid and postpaid schemes available for these 2 models. With thee two handsets the CDMA phone users can expect to get top notch entertainment features at affordable price.
