Sony is leaving no stone unturned to capture the market in Japan. As an introductory product, Sony Ericsson has launched 16 mega pixels Cyber shot S006 cell phone for the tech savvy and tech lover Japanese in collaboration with KDDI. The sliding mobile handset’s biggest attraction is the 16.2 mega pixel CMOS sensor attached to the cell phone.
The Japanese market is booming with newer gadgets as two big guns of the mobile phone industry are competing hard to sell their Products in Japan. Sony has launched the 16 mega pixel Cyber shot S006 cell phone to challenge Nokia which has introduced a Nokia N8 handset with 12 mega pixel sensor.
The display of the S006 measures 3.3 inches and has the resolution of 480X854 pixels. The OS is Sony’s own proprietary non-smart phone. The internal memory is of 700MB with an additional expandable memory of 16 GB. It has the 1GHz Snapdragon processors every other high end phone is using now. Wifi is also accommodated to the set.
ISO settings of the mobile camera include ISO ranges up to 12800 which is rare to see on a cell phones. The only thing which puts the 16 mega pixel Cyber shot into an older category is the tiny camera with age old lens at back. The phone camera look is now in vogue after the Panasonic Lumix Camera launched, making the camera design of Cyber shot outdated. Due to its Phone camera look Panasonic Lumix Camera even at 13.2 mega pixels delivers better images than our Sony Ericsson 16 mega pixel Cyber-shot.
