vivaz
LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com) — Sony Ericsson has unveiled another smartphone named Vivaz, which will boost its high-end smartphone family. Earlier this month, there was a news of launching a new device Kurara , which seems to be correct with a changed name Vivaz. The new Vivaz has an 8.1MP camera with 720p video recording. It is smaller than the Satio in terms of the overall size and the screen size. But it has some really interesting features that even it’s big brother doesn’t possess. The most striking feature of Vivaz is it enables HD recording.

Notable Specifications

  • The phone has a near HD (640 x 360) 3.2-inch screen.
  • It consists of headphone jack, Bluetooth and DLNA connectivity.
  • 8GB memory card.
  • 75MB of internal memory.
  • Exchange support via ActiveSync.
  • Support PlayNow Arena portal.
  • It is based on Symbian 5th edition, like the Satio.
  • Supports quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and 3G (HSDPA) connectivity options, as well as Wi-Fi capabilities.

Release Date

Yet to be confirmed. Expected date for US is Q1.
The Vivaz will be available in four color options — Moon Silver, Cosmic Black, Galaxy Blue, and Venus Ruby.
Satio user faced problems since it was the first product of Sony Ericsson. This time we hope, Vivaz will not repeat the same type of fault and turn out to be the most decent phone, ever launched by Sony Ericsson.

Price

Between $670 and $750.
