The company is poised to grow 20-25 percent in the current fiscal.

The colour television segment of the company was the worst-hit, Nayyar said.

Sony would focus on liquid crystal display (LCD) and digital imaging segments (comprising digital still camera and handycam) in 2009-10.

The digital camera of Sony occupies 37 percent market share and the company would like to take it to 42 percent in the coming fiscal.

Sony India posted a turnover of Rs.30 billion (Rs.3,000 crore) in 2007-08.
