Yesterday, A T-Mobile G1 spokesperson stated that the pre-ordered stock till 22 october is sold out. Though the good news is, they haven’t stopped taking orders yet. Looking at this TGmania (T-Mobile with Google). there is no point guessing that it will be a hysterical launch. So if you are not satisfied with i-Phones or don’t own one how about trying this?

What is this T-Mobile G1

If you are wondering what greek I am talking of, then lemme give you a very brief overview of T-Mobile G1

  • The G1 starts out looking like a chunky PDA-phone, having a big 320×480 touch screen. The touch screen is very responsive and there are five buttons and a small, slightly slippery track ball too to maneuver.
  • There’s a miniUSB charging port on the bottom, and a MicroSD memory card slips into the right side. The phone comes with 1 GB card.
  • There is a fairly good 3 MP camera.
  • The G1 works on T-Mobile’s 3G network, on foreign 3G networks, and on GSM EDGE networks all over the world, including in the US. It also has Wi-Fi, though you can’t use it for phone calls. We got more than 500 kbps on a speed test Web site using T-Mobile’s 3G connection, which is a decent speed ofcourse. Though you can not use it as a modem for PC.
  • T-Mobile says the phone has 130 hours standby time and up to 5 hours talk time.
  • The most important point is perhaps Google Android Operating system. It is open sourced, has many a choices for single operation and is very easy to use. We are really impressed with that.

So all said and done, if you have understood what you are missing out on, then get your name enlisted before its too late to own a piece of gadget that can make history in future. If you don’t, you have no one to blame.
