Though both the phones are launched on the same day, and Eris indicates the Greek goddess of discord, there is hardly any conflict between these two. At the core it is slightly improved version of HTC Hero from Sprint and its quick specs include 5MP Camera, WiFi, good resolution screen and decent multimedia capability. HTC Hero Price India

htc-hero1HTC Hero is perhaps the most hyped Android based phones till date. In our review we told you that the device is certainly worth a buy for its nice design, feature set and usability. We even declared the phone to be better than even BlackBerry Storm in our comparative review. Now, the great news for us is that, yesterday the device is launched in India with at a price tag of Rs. 31,990, the same as iPhone when it launched in India. We think that the price is just Okay for the device and there is nothing too cheap or nothing overpriced about it.

HTC shows its ‘Hero’ics at last

hero_heroNo, this is not another Android Powered phone. It is the first Android phone to support Adobe Flash for Web browsing and enjoying Flash based multimedia content. Bringing Flash platform to Android, HTC hero is clearly one step ahead of iPhone 3GS which is yet to get a Flash Support. Besides being heavily specd, it boasts an intuitive interface which is named as HTC Sense which supports gesture control, widget support and single view integration of different apps. Intuitive features like turning the phone over to put the phone in silence mode and integration of social networking sites into the device means that iPhone has found a serious competitor at last.
