25 Jewels and mathematical problems are what this watch gives you. If you are confused, I am too. But on a very different context. What on earth insisted the makers to make this utterly expensive and reasonless stuff? IQ blackboard-style watch is just what I am talking about. Its a collaborative effort from Fortis, the watch maker and Rolf Sachs, the designer.Though I guess, gadget-loving math nerds with heavy wallet will surely love it. Is it too weird a combo? Lamp Asks 2+2 = ? ; I Say 5 :(

Whimsically entertaining - that is what this world of gadgets is. Mingyu Jeung has made a lamp (as difficult as his name sounds) that needs you to do a mathematical calculation before the light gets turned on. Basically it will ask you easy (what is that for maths?) arithmetic calculations (read puzzles) and if you can answer, well enough. You get to be the hero of the house who ushered in light. And if you fail, just behave as if it was tougher than Fermat’s last theorem and focus on the point of how much did you save on the electricity bills.
