Windows Mobile is almost dead now. But it seems that Windows Phone 7 will keep alive the hope of Microsoft to enter the smartphone OS market arena. The Windows Phone 7 series, codenamed “Photon” was revealed during the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona. The new mobile OS is nothing like the old Windows Mobile and it seems that they have done it starting from the scratch and it must be said that the company has learned from its mistakes. Do you remember this quote from The Godfather? Well, Bill Gates can chuckle and find absolute similarity with this one now. If you don’t know about bgc3 then, its a company that is started by none other than Bill himself. We don’t know yet what that c stands for. Insiders say its C for Catalyst, we say we are C for Confused right now. Bill Gates has set up a small setup of an office named bgc3 and there is no inside story for now.

While the entire technology world was concentrating on the pre-launch of Microsoft’s new operating system Windows 7 (due in a short while), Microsoft came out with another surprise for developers. Microsoft’s XBOX 360, the already award winning entertainment gaming experience, goes one step ahead with its new wireless controller and a very cool red and black interface. The time of launching has really been perfect as just before the holidays they are introducing cordless gaming experience upto 30 feet (as claimed) and with 25 hours of uninterrupted gaming once the recharchable battery is fully charged. Again, if the battery runs low, you are given ample warning about it so that you can save and then quit. Being a gamer I know, how important that is.
