Tetris, the four segmented wonder was created by Alexey Pajitnov on 6th June 1984 and has since made the whole world addicted to its simple yet strategic gameplay requiring quick reflex actions. Derived from Greek numerical prefix ‘tetra’ - meaning four, the game has seen so many changes and there are so many variants available that it has own an award of “Game With the Most Official and Unofficial Variants” by Guinness World Records.
