May 26th, 2009 iUnika, a spain based company has just unveiled an extremely low cost and low power entry level netbook named Gyy. The system will run on Linux and can only perform simple operation and that does not require graphics or CPU processing.

August 26th, 2009 MSI has confirmed that they will release a touchscreen netbook that will be based on Intel's next gen Pine Trail Atom Processors which will combine both CPU and GPU in a single package. The 10 inch convertible U150 will come with Windows 7 but it won't support the Windows 7's cool touch Pack Apps as touchscreen will be resistive not capacitive and sans any multitouch capabilities.
