1. Borderlands
It is a science fiction first-person shooter with RPG elements that is currently in development by Gearbox Software for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and is due for release in October 2009. The game was revealed in the September 2007 issue of Game Informer magazine. The game is the first in a planned franchise.
2. Assassin’s Creed II

It is an sandbox type action-adventure video game being developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft, the sequel to Assassin’s Creed. It is set to be released in North America on November 17, 2009 and in PAL regions on November 20, 2009 on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
3. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

It is a well known first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Officially announced on February 11, 2009, the game is due for worldwide release on November 10, 2009. It is the sixth installment of the Call of Duty series, and the direct sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, continuing along the same storyline.
4. Starcraft II: Wings of Libertys

It is a trilogy of military science fiction real-time strategy video games currently under development by Blizzard Entertainment as a sequel to the award-winning 1998 video game StarCraft. StarCraft II, originally envisioned as a single game, was announced to be a trilogy at BlizzCon 2008, consisting of the base game and two subsequent expansion sets, entitled Wings of Liberty, Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void respectively.
5. Aion: Tower of Eternity

Aion is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game released in Korea and China with localized versions in development for other regions of the world. Aion was (up until May 20, 2009) known as “Aion: The Tower of Eternity” but it will be released in North America under the one-word title of Aion. The game developer is NCsoft’s Aion Team Development Dept, a major Korean game developer. Aion combines PvP and PvE (a concept the developers call PvPvE) in a fantasy game environment. A feature of the game is flight, both as a means of transportation and aerial combat. Other games in this genre typically offer flight only as a means of travel, while combat is reserved for the ground.
6. Mafia II

This is a sandbox-style third-person shooter video game which is the sequel to Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven. It is being developed by 2K Czech, previously known as Illusion Softworks, and will be published by 2K Games. Mafia 2 was announced in August 2007 at the Leipzig Games Convention. The game will be set in the 1940s and ’50s in Empire Bay, a fictional city based on San Francisco and New York City.[6] The name is a reference to New York’s state nickname “The Empire State”. Mafia 2 will be available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. It is currently due to be released “early in 2010″.
7. Batman: Arkham Asylum

It is an action-adventure stealth video game for Microsoft Windows, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360, and is based on DC Comics’ Batman. It is being developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Square Enix Europe in conjunction with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics and will be released on August 25, 2009 in North America and August 28, 2009 in Europe. It is based on the long-running comic book mythos, as opposed to most other Batman games which are adaptations of the character in other media.

It is a console role-playing game being developed by Square Enix. It is slated to be released exclusively for PlayStation 3 in Japan, and on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Europe and North America. First appearing at the 2006 E3, the game features are futuristic and set in a high-tech world.
10. Splinter Cell: Convictions

It is the fifth installment in the Splinter Cell video game series. The game is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal, developers of Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and the sixth generation versions of Splinter Cell: Double Agent. It was originally scheduled for release on November 16, 2007, but has since been the subject of several delays. I think it will be at last released this month!
