Free iPhone Apps are now available aplenty. Many of those apps either have no use or have bugs that makes the app prone to crashes. There are many iPhone users don’t want to waste their time on those apps but buy a good one instead. But there are some apps that may be really useful at times, and they are free too. We have made a list of these apps which are useful, fun, less prone to crashes and are free of course. Take a look at the list and get them if you want.
1. Evernote

This is a must have app for you if you need to access the notes taken in your iPhone from any Web-connected device. This app provides a centralized location for all of your notes, photos and even voice-recordings created on your iPhone. It lets you save documents and media files on a Web storage platform that you can access anywhere using your Mac, PC or iPhone.
2. Twitterrific

This is an app that every Twitter user would want. This app has a very useful and elegant front end that simplifies the way to keep in touch with your friends and family. Let them know what you’re doing right now by writing your status. This app surely provides a better way to sort and manage all of your friends’ tweets. It allows you to reply to tweets with one touch, and lets you consolidate all your Twitter accounts on one page.
3. eReader

This is an useful app if you want to read eBooks on your iPhone. You’ll be able to read free eBooks available all over the internet or you can choose to buy them from ereader.com, fictionwise.com and other eBook retailers. eReader puts eBooks right at your fingertips on your iPhone.
4. Eventful

Do you want to know about local events or which performers will be performing? Eventful is the right app to help you in this case. It generally keeps track of what’s happening at your favorite venues. You can also share your favorites with friends and track what your friends are interested in. You’ll have tour dates for more than 130,000 performers and schedules for all venues near you.
Once you’ve configured it, Eventful will let you know about concerts, book signings, live sports, theater, public speakers - almost every event that you can imagine.
5. Baseball

If you’re a baseball fanatic you will love this entire Baseball Encyclopedia right there on your iPhone. You can get career stats, find a player by team or year and search for player or team name from 1871 to 2007. Just do a few taps and get the answer to all your baseball player statistics enquiry.
6. iPint

I bet you will like this game where you have to guide a pint of beer across an obstacle-ridden bartop into a customer’s hands by tilting the handset. This game uses iPhone’s accelerometers to control the game. Search for iPint in your iTunes software and get this fun game.
7. iThesaurus

You don’t have to carry a separate bulky thesaurus to tell the synonym of a word you can have it in your mobile now. Now you don’t have to scratch your head to speak out the word which was just at the edge of your tongue. The free app comes from creator Chevol Davis, and it’s pretty much what you would expect from an online thesaurus. It has over 140,000 words for you to choose from, courtesy of words.bighugelabs.com. iThesaurus is constantly being updated and is already on its third version: V. 2.1 which lets you e-mail a word to a friend.
8. Touch Hockey

This iPhone app is a simulation of the old air hockey table game. If you liked the original game you should have remembered the clattering sound of the puck rebounding off bumpers. It reproduces the sounds accurately as you control the paddle with a flick of the finger. The graphics are remarkably fast. Though the free version does has some ads before you can play, but seems to have all of the features of the $1.99 version.
You can play Touch Hockey against a virtual opponent, or a real person can go finger-to-finger on your touch-screen. There is also a setting that lets you face off against a stranger on the Web.
9. WeatherBug

If you are a weather junkie and fancy having news about satellite weather maps, current radar, detailed forecasts, weather cameras, and severe weather alerts, this an app of your dream. You can get weather from 45,000 locations all over the world. Really a whole damn encyclopedia of weathers! What do you think?
10. Facebook

You’ll surely find this app very useful if you area a frequent facebooker. It lets you start a conversation with Facebook Chat integration, which is not possible in the full web version of facebook on safari for iPhone. Using this facebook app you can upload photos to facebook, easily scan through the alphabetical list of friends, check your friends’ status or photos, or even look up a phone number. This apps’ main attraction is its clear organisation of simple features and Facebook promises to add more features in the future keeping this simple architecture intact.
