1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, 80GB HDD, 1GB of RAM - this is perhaps the most common and well sold laptop configuration ever. VIA Technologies Inc, a leading innovator of power efficient x86 processor platforms, has announced a Global Mobility Bazaar (GMB)  an innovative industry infrastructure program aimed at driving the rapid global adoption of affordable mobile computing devices.

Whether a success or not - that is to be seen in future. But VIA has been able to tie some tech giants (reportedly 15) up with this project including Microsoft, ITE, Sandisk and etc. They will come with innovative plans and designs of laptop to grow this bazaar across the world.

This will help people not only to buy laptops under affordable price but also it will usher in a cheaper and wider market of laptops.
