The RoBoCar from ZMP was announced last week. But it was only today at EV Expo 2011, in Tokyo that the car got displayed before us.

This is the 2nd Electric Robot Car from ZMP. This new version comes with a newly developed autonomous system. This Robot Electric car is capable of moving around without the needs of any drovers with a stunning precision of 1 to 2cm, thanks to an array of sensors including a Stereo camera, Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), speed sensor and laser range finders.

The RoBoCar MEV will be available in three different flavors including:
1) Unit A- A drive-by-wire model capable to adapt its speed automatically and sold around 2.8 Million yen
2) Unit B- A Steer-by-wire model with automatic steering capability and sold at around 4.8 Million Yen
3) Unit C- A Brake-by-wire model with stereo camera, IMU and Steer-by-Wire announced at 6.8 Million Yen.
